An excerpt from our most recent prayer letter (May 2025):

“On Friday night, May 3, a lightning storm passed over our area. In just a few seconds, six strikes hit near our home…We went to bed that night, unaware of what was smoldering above us. The next morning, after breakfast, I was studying when I noticed a glare, then smoke and flames. I told Frankie, ‘The house is on fire!’ I asked her to open the garage door so I could try to move the cars. When she did, the fire alarm sounded, and the flames erupted… We are so thankful that our lives were spared. Everything we have belongs to the Lord, and while we can live without many things, we cannot live without Him. He is our refuge.”
